Oliver “Troika’s Bound to be Wild”
Oliver, a Siberian Husky, is the dog that inspired me to learn about behavior in a much deeper way than I ever thought I would. At first learning to train my dogs was about being able to walk on a leash and stay on the floor when greeting people. Then I found the sport of agility and I wanted more. Starting the sport with a Siberian husky was challenging. I had to seek out different ways to train than what was offered in a local weekly class. Oliver taught me so much about the concept of reinforcement and I am forever grateful for those lessons! Although a rocky start Oliver ended up having a brilliant career in agility while adding a personal flare to all that he did! He is now retired and enjoys hiking, fitness, and making me laugh every day!
Electra “Kelim’s Happiness is…Electra”
Electra, also a Siberian Husky, has been described as a “master chess player”, her intelligence and energy for life is spectacular. Having learned so much with Oliver I was better prepared but every dog throws us new and exciting challenges so it has again been such an educational journey working with her. She has accomplished every goal I have set for her and more. Becoming the 2019 Regional Grand Prix Champion, standing on the top box alongside world team members is something I never imagined would happen. She achieved her USDAA Agility Dog Champion title in 2020 and is still going strong! Electra is also training in the protection sport of Mondioring!
Fury “Powertripp’s Legendary Adventurer”
Fury is my first Border Collie who threw me into the world of fast and furious dogs without training wheels! He is all in all the time for anything you can think of. Having observed many people over the years with border collies I was ready for the challenge and armed with the knowledge that I needed to stay solidly in foundation behaviors until he could work with a clear mind at the speed his body was able to go. He is a brilliant thinking dog now with amazing agility skills and body awareness. His competitive career in agility has been delayed due to Covid but he is ready to show just how amazing he is!
Dream “Say Yes to Inspired Moments”
Dream is my beautiful Border Collie puppy, joining the family in November of 2020. She is a truly happy dog full of joy for all things in life. Her energetic, fun loving, personality and spectacular coordination make all things . I am so excited to be on yet another adventure with this wonderful little girl!!! She will certainly do agility and you never know what else we might get into.
